2014 was the year that we were sure the first president from the Pirate Party would be elected on the platform of:
· Rum inspired nap times every day
· Every house will have a color teepee
· Read my lips "No new taxes"
· Constant invasion of the Carribean
· Reinstatement of triangle trade (only make it rum, music, and comedy)

It might not have happened, but we infused the country with pirate spirit (and some pirate spirits) and performed at festivals and bars all around... and the occasional front porch as well. We gotta be thorough.
