As they sat around the campfire, a young man named Ned approached them with a song idea after hearing the band performing 'Old Maui.' His idea evolved into 'With the Wind in the Rigging and the Rain on the Deck,' co-written by Rodger Harrison and C. Micheal Price. The name was changed to Ned's Chanty almost immediately.
