This traditional tune has an accompanying dance where the dancer will recreate many chores of a sailor on board a tall ship while dancing, including hauling a line, looking out to sea, climbing the rigging, steering the wheel, etc. Captains in the Royal Navy would have their sailors dance the hornpipe to the sound of a fiddle to keep them fit and healthy during long voyages.
Recorded on Oct 19, 2013 at the Highlands and Islands concert, this track was considered for inclusion on the Bail Money album, but didn't make it due to space considerations.
