Our friends Tullamore got themselves into a bit of a pickle as they were booked for the KC Irish festival the same night they were booked to do O'Malley's. We happened to come along looking to perform at O'Malleys that weekend since we were in KC. All of a sudden, we went from pirates begging for a gig to unintentional rescuers as we rolled up to Weston, Missouri to sub in for Tullamore's first set on Saturday night. We had a blast performing at one of the coolest pubs ever and give the regulars a dose of alternative folk music, pirate-style.
The Bilge Pumps spend the first 15 minutes of their set trying to get the sound system to work
The Bilge Pumps' amplified voices echo through the underground cavern
Luckily for the band, they have extended their stage out to make it large enough for a 1/2 ton of pirates to fit on
John and Phil have either absorbed way too much alcohol or are at the end of a long performance day
Maroon seems to be having trouble interpreting the hand signals from Harvey and Galleon
Harvey points out the lone couple on the first floor that can hear us over the chatter of the drunken teachers in front of the stage
The Bilge Pumps can't find any other booty within reach, so they have to settle for their own
Despite the extended stage, Harvey still almost gets humped right off the stage by Galleon
