The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: Middlefaire 2019

Hillsboro, TX October 5 - 6, 2019

After a decade of performing on the same grounds at the Texas Pirate Festival, a change in the schedule allowed us to perform for the first time at Middlefaire! And, for the first time in two years, we actually managed to do both days without getting rained out. Sure, it was record-setting hot both days, but we put on our beef jerkey underwear and took it like pirates. We had a nice time sharing the stage during the end of day pub sings with all the musicians in the shire as well.

The Bilge Pumps take over the Jack Tar Tavern with hardly an inch to spare to port or starboard.	Fanny the Flagmaker and Elizabeth the Stowaway show everyone how to correctly chomp children during Rippy the Gator.	The band tries to lull the "audience" to sleep by performing A Pirate Lullaby.
Harvey the Corpsman dreams of having a mobile auto-tuner as the band plays Seven Bridges Road.	Harvey the Corpsman shows off his fabulous form during the Night Pat Murphy Died.	Maroon the Shantyman warns everyone to keep their expectations low, based upon their choice of bands.
Harvey shows everyone his greedy face before he leaps into the audience for their money during Beggarman.	Before he goes, though, he must show off his macho tamborine technique.	The festival is over, time to load up and follow the dust out the gate
