Norman, OK     April 5 - 7, 2019

We missed the previous year of Medieval Fair due to Tall Ships Galveston and the weather rebelled as a result. This year, we returned and brought back the nice weather with us (as well as some brand new CD's) It was fun reconnecting with our OK fans at our usual haunt at the Camelot Stage (aka the Chessboard stage) and we even snuck in a couple shows with the rarely seen Aloysius Smeesy! This was also the final official show for our retiring Sharkbait Simon the Scapegoat. May his barnacles be plenty.

Ah, nothing says Med Fair like the 1st show on a Friday morning before anyone has shown up yet.

Maroon the Shantyman prays to the sun gods that someone will show up to watch.

Looks about right. One show in and Splice the Rigger and Harvey the Corpsman are flat unconscious.

By the time the 2nd show starts, the people taking "sick" days off work have begun to arrive.

The band practices their arrest poses once word about their show spreads to the law enforcement.

The band mourns the fact that Sharkbait Simon has left the band, before realizing it's Friday and he never shows up on Fridays.

Sharkbait finally shows up on Saturday, just in time to get rained on and our show moved to the pavilion for shelter.

Of course, it helps to have a captive audience.

It was raining so hard, you needed an umbrella even in the tent!

When the rains subsided, a new crowd emerged. This one brought a phone and the band had to gather around and sing during the call.

If you look closely, you can spot the rare Aloysius Smeesy the Ship's Carpenter sighting.

The band's string section was on display once Maroon stole Jack the Rum Runner's 12-string guitar.

It would be fair to send Sharkbait away without torturing him with steel drum one more time for Banana Boat Pirates.

Sunday has arrived and the band wants Sharkbait to work hard on his last day, making him play the bass.

Trust John Crow the Cook to perform to that one person on the starboard side he's had his eye on.

The band forces Sharkbait to break out his lyric book so he can get through Larry Marr.

Harvey and Maroon feel their jazz hands coming on during the chorus

Splice and Sharkbait display the proper response.

Sharkbait couldn't help himself, though, and joined in on the idiocy.

We have finally arrived. It's Sharkbait Simon's last show with the Bilge Pumps.

The audience shows up to give Sharkbait Simon a proper goodbye.

And here is the first of the pics of the band and all those who showed up wearing the Bilge Pumps hats.

And now picture 2, with twice the stupid
