We rolled our land schooners back to Galveston to spread the holiday joy to all, pirate style, with our oh-so-beautiful pirate Christmas carols.
We ran all over the festival from stage to stage, trying in vain to escape the bobbies' notice and spread some pirate spirit for the holiday. We even had one show without amplification in the Strand, for a Dickens first.
We enjoyed the weathering, withering, and wuthering at the festival with the finest atmosphere of them all.
Fezziwig's Friday night concert has a tent up and people off work looking for free entertainment. Lucky for them, we're as cheap as it gets
Normally, we don't like only having 4 band members for a show, but once we saw how small the performance area was, we were happy
The lights are all fired up and the Bilge Pumps use them to give ghosts of Christmas present
The tall ship Elissa stands guard while Maroon the Shantyman and Jack the Rum Runner select songs for the dockside show.
The Elissa is a way more impressive backdrop than the actual show going on dockside... even with Sharkbait Simon joining us for the weekend.
There's never a dull moment as the Bilge Pumps crank out an unamplified show on the sidewalk off 21st street.
There was never a show in the same spot all weekend. This time, we rolled onto the Windsor Castle Stage.
Then we whisk away to the Trafalgar Square Stage for some of that sweet English sun.
Maroon fires off a salute to the brave souls getting the backs of their necks burned in the name of pirate music.
Harvey the Corpsman is pretty sure he knows the story of the magic chest hair that provides shade. He's asking Splice the Rigger to demonstrate.
There were too any people at the last show in front of the Elissa, so the band cuts down on the crowd by moving to the harbor.
In a true Dickens tradition, the Carnival Vista knew when the show started, for it began the last call for boarding horn blasts.
One day, Vista, we shall have our revenge. One day...
The weekend ends with a dose of the largest stage of the festival, the Westminster Abbey Stage.
Nothing signals it's almost time to drive home than More Rum, Gloria!
The Bilge Pumps went fishing in the harbor and pulled out an actual gator to perform for Rippy the Gator.
Harvey spots a few souls without the pirate spirit in their hearts during Please Don't Take Me Down.
Maroon takes a chance to pose with his children and his wife, The Stilt Lady in the only chair she can sit in.
