Galveston, TX     February 11, 2018

Due to the proximity of Pirates on the Prairie VII the night before, the band was forced to make a fast get-in, get-out trip to Galveston to put on our annual performance for Mardi Gras. It might have been cold and windy, but that never stops the bead seekers from crawling out of their hiding places hitting the front row. It only we can get Easter on a reliable schedule going forward...

Nothing brings an audience out faster than cold wind and sound checks.

Only 4 Bilge Pumps made the trip south to take on the madness. Soon they will join the madness.

The band realizes they're great, but there's no need to name a building after them.

Harvey and Splice just decide to give up on the life of piracy mid-set and mid-song. Happens at least 5 times/day.

Throw enough beads and make enough noise and the audience slowly starts to emerge into the cold for the show.

Yup. Seems right.
