The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: Texarkana Renaissance Faire 2015

Texarkana, AR September 26, 2015

The Bilge Pumps crashed the gates of the Texarkana Renaissance Faire to make sure everyone's Saturday had a lovely piratical fumy haze about it. Since we weren't officially part of the entertainment, we grabbed unoccupied stretches of dust and made them our own as we attempted to mesmerize the locals. There were only 4 of us at the show and one of those 4 was a stand-in as we lost Jack the Rum Runner somewhere around the Texas border and picked up Capt Jack Sparrow instead to take on guitar duties. Let me tell you, that man knows about duties! heh heh. Doodies.

An entire 2/3 of the Bilge Pumps managed to make it to Texarkana to play with the natives... and still caused more damage than Ponce De Leon	We stuck our flag in John Crow the Cook's pants and claimed that land as our own country.	Maroon the Shantyman and a suspiciously Sparrow-like Jack the Rum Runner fire up the string music for the show.
Fanny the Flagmaker is poised and ready to pounce on that one person trying to get away from the show without some type of merchandise purchase.	John Crow keeps an eye on the pond in case another ship tries to make port.	The pumps change locations to dazzle the gypsy camp with "Auckland to the Bluff".
Run away kid! Being that close to pirates will corrupt your innocent soul! Unless you're already a pirate. Then welcome aboard!	Harvey the Corpsman manages to find two "volunteers" to get down and funky with.	Somewhere in the middle of the song, the liquor finally kicks in.
We're not sure whose crotch is responsible for all of this, but we'll get to the bottom of it.	Maroon manages to find some relief from the ding dongs surrounding him.	The Bilge Pumps pull in the royalty to dance to "Johnny Jump Up" during the end of day Pub Sing.
