The Bilge Pumps celebrated Talk Like a Pirate Day 2015 by hanging out in a rum distillery for 2 nights! What more can a pirate band ask for? Making our second appearance at the Railean Rum Buccaneer Bar for the year, we brought forth all of our charm, good looks, and pirate clothes.... or at least one of those. Friday night was a Parrothead Party when the area Buffet fans gathered up to partake in the spirits and listen to us bust out one or two extra of Jimmy's songs to add to our own. Saturday night was packed to the rails with pirate fans in various modes of dastardly dress as we regaled them with music for forget the night by... the forgetting brought to you by Railean Rum!

Elizabeth the Stowaway does her best with the sound board that failed more and more as the weekend progressed.

Still got time to kill to get the sound fixed? Send in Harvey the Corpsman with some tasteless jokes!

John Crow joined the band on this trip south, leaving only Sharkbait to wallow in the lack of rum in his life.

The TV proclaims the Bilge Pumps are here... just in case the flag and the banner and the towels and the T-Shirts weren't enough.

Harvey gathers up some dancers to bust a move with him on "Cape Cod Girls".

It's Friday night the 18th, and that means we're performing for the Parrotheads, so Jack the Rum Runner gets his parrot on.

Now that's definitely a band full of booze hounds... some more than others.

In honor of the Parrothead crowd, we busted out "Margaritaville" for the first time ever.

We weren't expecting this reaction, admittedly.

Harvey sends everyone home with a rousing sermon about embracing the evils of capitalism.

It's officially Talk Like a Pirate Day Saturday and the irregular crowd shuffles in.

Strangely, us telling everyone what happens to a drunken sailor didn't seem to stop anyone from drinking.

John Crow the Cook found him the perfect dance partner. One who isn't looking at him.

The band goes pocket diving trying to figure out where John Crow stows all of those bells.

Oh yeah. That's a sexy bunch of pirates right there. Compared to a sexy bunch of bananas, anyway.

This is one of four pages of their drink menu. Yes, we tried the Cannon Fodder and it tastes exactly as disgusting as it sounds.

Our thanks go to Dana Smith for the picture donations.
