Port Arthur, TX     May 24, 2015

The Bilge Pumps rolled into Port Arthur, TX for the first time ever to provide the buccaneer buffoonery needed to entertain the boat owners that came to the TMCA Spring Fling's Pirate Picnic. The sun might have been hiding behind the rain clouds that were plaguing Texas this particular spring, but that never stops real pirates of those that dress like them. The Bilge Pumps hung out dockside cranking out song after song while also refereeing a pirate costume contest. Now that's an afternoon of fun.

The rains in Texas would not go away for the weekend, but the lessened up just enough for the Bilge Pumps to set up their sound gear for the pirate picnic

The costume contest participants begin to gather up for the judges approval.

Then they strike a sexy pose

Harvey the Corpsman helps keep the contestants rounded up and on their worst behavior

The judges make their contests crank out the best pirate dances while the band performs "Sailor's Hornpipe".

The Bilge Pumps gather up dockside to wait on the even sillier sailors navigating their bathtubs through the harbor.
