The Bilge Pumps combined buccaneers and baseball yet again with our 3rd Pirate Night at QuikTrip Park in the past three years as we crashed a Grand Prairie Airhogs baseball game with all sorts of pirate goofiness.
We sang the National Anthem (for the first time), Harvey threw out the first pitch, we got involved in many fun sideline games, and then put on a post-game concert outside the front gate.
True, the Airhogs might have lost, but everyone else won with a night of pirates to sail back home with.
Harvey the Corpsman prepares mentally to throw the ceremonial first pitch of the game.

John Crow the Cook hangs with Fred Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan, waiting a chance to play musical chairs between innings.

Harvey, Splice, and John Crow hang out behind bars waiting for the game to end and the concert to begin.

The crowd gathers up for the post-game concert.
|
The drums are banging away to entertain the crowd during the post-game show.

Harvey attempts to put his lips together and blow... a didjeridu during "South Australia".

No Sharkbait means Maroon the Shantyman is forced to guitar up again for the second time in a month.
