Hammond, LA     November 2 - 10, 2013

Our 12th season at the Louisiana Renaissance Fest was a throwback while being brand new at the same time. We performed on the Queen's Stage at the festival for the first time since 2002 when it was in a different location. That meant that 80% of our audiences were people who had never seen us before. Having a new audience meant for new fun as we had all of our members present on both weekends for the first time in a long time. That means John Crow got to "live on the edge" all 4 days and the rest of us were forced to keep cleaning our pants legs. The dread pirate Rose also debuted selling merch for us and we even managed to find out what the fox says. Pretty eventful couple of weekends!

The Bilge Pumps returned to the Queen's stage for the first time in a decade and promptly left a stain backstage.

The band's pre-show ritual of screwing around with no apparent point or purpose is still in full effect.

Wouldn't be a successful version of "The Smuggler's Song" without John Crow the Cook dry humping someone.

Harvey the Corpsman and Maroon the Shantyman get down and dirty adding some bass to the chorus of "Larry Marr".

Harvey pulls up some serious talent with him to do the Harvey Dance durnig "Cape Cod Girls".

Not ones to spend all their time on the Queen's Stage, the band took over the Painted Badger Pub for one show per day.

Sharkbait Simon the Scapegoat takes a bow after taking Splice the Rigger's bra off one-handed on "Biddy McGrath".

Splice shares his delicates with John Crow. Ah, to be a pirate.

Harvey pulls up a pack of pricesses to help him do his improv dances during "Sailor's Hornpipe".

The Dread Pirate Rose debuts her selling skills to those unused to rampant cuteness from our shows.

Harvey checks out his congregation as he prepares to pontificate from his pirate pulpit.

Sharkbait instructs Maroon on the details of tuning strings in cold weather that get heated in the sun.

John Crow revs up his chopper. 'Cause that's how he rows.

Harvey pulls out the didjeridu to regale everyone with his vibrating prowess on "South Australia".

John Crow's dead eyes stare into the soul of an audience member during "The Night Pat Murphy Died".

It's Sunday morning! Time for the No Request Show! And the crowd goes mild.

The Pumps pull up the poor Whiskey Bay Rovers on stage to participate in the a.m. hijinks.
