Seabrook, TX     October 7 - 8, 2000

The Bilge Pumps rolled down to Seabrook to give everyone a different view of the world of music. Despite the cold and rainy weather, we accomplished our mission... sort of. Next, we'll have to find a way to stay warm when we expose ourselves (meaning our music) to the world.

It's Army vs. Navy as The Bilge Pumps square off against the local regiment.

E needs a couple of extra microphones when he's playing didjeridu on "Wop Jamboree"!

Squeegy and Squint go to town as our nautical rhythm section.

I could explain what's really going on here, but it's more fun to imagine.

Maroon has had enough of the parrot on the shoulder stereotype. He's chosen a boxing baby monkey instead.

A few 'Pumps pose in front of the Shipwrecked Chili Cook-off team's camp.

The Bilge Pumps have conquered the hill! It's a shame they still can't find their ship or their captain.

Phil gives Kailyn a dirty look when he sees how our gunner is dancing.

We had to use some props (namely audience members) when we did our rendition of "Maids When You're Young".

E forgets that it's 36 degrees outside and tries to get into the Hawaiian mood.

Natty Nell looks around for any sign of a patron not frozen or soaking wet to sell to.

The ship's monkey whips out his boxing gloves and shows Squeegy who's in charge.

Since the nice people of Shipwrecked were good enough to feed us, we did as all vagabonds do... we sang for our supper.

Ah, here's a shot of Squint doing what he does best.... squint!

Squeegy and Maroon get down and dirty wailing into the microphones.

Maroon and Phil strain to sing in the microphone that was set to E's height.

The sound guy looks kind of frozen as The Bilge Pumps go through their microphone tests.

Our thanks go to Michael Boeswetter for the picture donations.
