The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: University of Oklahoma Medieval Fair 2005

Norman, OK April 1 - 3, 2005

A new stage, gorgeous weather, and a bunch of insane pirates bellowing and dancing around! You can't ask for a better way to the Bilge Pumps to make a grand return to the OU Medieval Fair in Norman. There might not have been any pirates in their skivvies onstage, but we made up for it by telling every tasteless joke we knew. Now if only we can find some sunscreen to put on Galleon.

The Bilge Pumps unveil their new secret weapon... a drum with arms and legs that stands and plays by itself.	Harvey the Corpman gropes Santa.. er... John Crow the Cook while he's doing the Drunken Sailor dance.	Galleon O'Galleon takes one of our most widely-traveled fans and steals a dance from her in the true pirate tradition...
... and he rewards her by pulling her and her friend up onstage to be the targets of ridicule on "Whiskey Johnny".	E has to stop Maroon from firing off Blue-like profanity during "The Farmer".	The brand new drum stand Maroon bought in the morning didn't quite work out and Harvey runs in to assist.
We all have to hang on to our mic stands when the audience shouts out "MacIntyre" at the top of their lungs.	The Pinball Wizard strikes Norman, OK, when Harveys gets in touch with his inner Daltry.	Maroon prepares to surpise Galleon with a flintlock enema during "Old Dun Cow".
There's nothing like the roar of the crowd early on Sunday morning after Daylight Savings kicks in.	Harvey finally finds a new love during "The 3 Song". Much to the delight of the crowd and the despair of his betrothed.	Maroon gets all hairy doing the head-banging duties as the last long-haired pirate in the band.
