The Bilge Pumps performed at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market for the 10th time, continuing a tradition that continues to confound the locals.
Because of some scheduling conflicts, we performing in November for the first time instead of December.
That meant that some of our members couldn't make it, but John Crow and Fanny got to join us for the first time at this show.
With Sharkbait and the Pearls sidelined for the day with other shows, we were left with 4 Bilge Pumps for the show.
Splice the Rigger lets the crowd know that Fanny the Flagmaker and John Crow the Cook don't really remember any of our Christmas songs because they're always busy on the holidays.
The rest of the band looks pretty nonplussed when Maroon the Shantyman goes full zombie during "Captain Wenceslas".
The undead version of Patrick Murphy shows up during "The Night Pat Murphy Died".
Of course, he gets treated the same way he did when it was a live Pat Murphy.
Poor Fanny is flanked by pirate carollers doing their best to lure the vultures down.
Maroon and Fanny have to hold down the string section of the show with all the absences.
Fanny's mic starts to act up during the show, so Maroon can't stop himself from fiddling with the instruments.
